In the quiet whisper of the autumn breeze,
Amidst the trees that gently lull and please,
I find myself on a verdant, winding lane,
Holding your hand, with dreams that softly reign.
Leaves tumble down into the lake’s embrace,
A dance of nature, a serene, tranquil space,
Your laughter, like a song, drifts through the air,
In silence, bliss, and love, we both declare.
Oh, how I long for this moment to endure,
Yet autumn departs, taking you for sure,
Leaving me alone on this leafy trail,
With sadness as deep as the nightingale’s wail.
The river of time carries away the years,
Like pebbles tossed, our joys and tears, it clears,
I gaze upon the lake, lost in reverie,
With thoughts that flow, as nature’s whispered plea.
Who weaves a tale of joy and sorrow, so?
In pain, there’s solace, in happiness, a glow,
The one I once embraced, now withdrawn,
Leaving me in a melancholy dawn.
Autumn, once vibrant, now falls into decay,
Leaves scatter, like dreams, they too fade away,
I meld into the ripples, lost, yet serene,
In the arms of fall, I find solace keen.
Who, in this bittersweetness, finds delight?
In memories, we find both day and night,
Yet as I stand amidst this fading hue,
I’m alone in the autumn, once shared with you.
In the twilight of a season’s silent song,
I remain, in solitude, where you belong,
In the heart of autumn, forgotten, I grieve,
Alone, amidst the leaves, I find reprieve.
P.s: I was inspired by this song (Mùa Thu Lá Xanh).
