Hello and Welcome, I'm so glad you've found your way here and chosen to stay for a while. My name is Anh Dao - though some call me as Stella, and at home, in my Vietnamese church, I am Tú Uyên.
I was born and raised in Vietnam, and in 2020, at the age of twenty, I crossed the ocean to begin a new life in the United States — arriving just as the pandemic reshaped the world. In those turbulent days, imagined myself as a seed pressed into unfamiliar ground: a young life uprooted, carried stories across oceans. That seed became The Wild Dandelion.
The dandelion is the wildflower of my heart — it survives winter's cold, blossoms in radiant yellow with the spring, and scatters its seeds to the summer wind. In the same way, I hope to live with resilience through hardship, to blossom with courage, and to embrace the freedom of a life carried by grace: young, wild, free.
The principles that guide my writing and my life, helping me find meaning in everyday moments.
I strive to live with authenticity, stay true to my stories and my values.
I find joy in caring for others, creating spaces where people feel seen and supported.
I approach challenges with persistence, believing growth is born through effort.
I am someone others can trust, and turn to in both presence and promise.
Gratitude grounds me—I honor the gifts of people, moments, and even small daily delights.
I live and function by organized system. I bring order to what is scattered, turning plans into action and vision into reality. I hope with God's grace, one day, brokenness becomes masterpiece, ash becomes beauty. (Isaiah 61:3)
